Any leaf piles created after leaf collection is completed the property owner’s responsibility for removal. You may compost the leaves or use them as mulch in your gardens or flower beds. You may NOT burn the leaves or dump them in a green space. You may not place them on the road as that is a Stormwater Violation according to EPA and DEP Regulations, an Illicit Discharge and the offender/property owner could be fined accordingly. If you have a pile of leaves in front of your home on the street, please remove them or you may be subject to a Citation.
